This year a team of Anchor Hocking’s co-workers, friends and family joined over 50,000 people participating in the Komen Columbus Race for the Cure. Anchor Hocking’s main headquarters are located just outside of Columbus, OH. A member of the sales and marketing team put together a group, over 50 members strong, for the event. Anchor has also supported the breast cancer cause with inspiring products, including the Hope Mug and Hope Double Wall with a pink lid. In addition, the bakeware line supports the cause with a pink lidded Batter Bowl and ribbon shaped cookie cutter, pink 16oz Measuring Cup and pink 5oz Measuring Glass all available through seasonal retail promotions in the fall.

Anchorware Everywhere

I was at Target admiring Giada De Lauentiis' new product line, when I noticed the Giada ground coffee packaging. On the side of the package is a delicious cup of specialty coffee in an Anchor Hocking Cafe Mug.

Anchorware Everywhere

Need a new idea for a party? How about the old classic, milk and cookies? Martha Stewart suggests presenting varieties of cookies in large jars for your guests. Create some pretty labels and adorn with ribbon and you're set!

Working at Anchor usually means your office or cubical is chalk full of Anchorware. Many of us use mugs and glasses for organizing pens and pencils.

Since the café mug comes in three colors I keep one of each on my desk, that way pens, sharpies and graphic markers stay separated.

I use a vintage Anchor divided dish to keep my push pins all in one spot and my paper clips from getting entangled with binder clips.

Anchorware Everywhere

Martha Stewart frequently uses anchorware in her photos for recipes and craft projects. She has showcased our Café Mug holding one of her favorite St. Patty’s day cocktails, The Nutty Irishman (we’ve included the recipe below).

Ingredients
1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
1 ounce Frangelico
1 ounce Kahlua
5 ounces hot coffee
Whipped cream, for garnish
Green sanding sugar, for garnish (optional)

Directions
Place Irish cream, Frangelico, and Kahlua in a coffee mug; pour over coffee. Top with whipped cream and sanding sugar, if desired.
